The beginning

As I write my first post on my new blog my mind strays to the activities of one week from tonight.  You see…exactly one week from this moment I will be married and arriving at the reception. 

Let me give you some back story…

I am a blogger…I love blogging and I have another blog with a different provider.  The reason I decided to start a new blog is for the reason my mind keeps wandering…I am getting married.  I am starting a new chapter of my life.  A chapter that involves a very special man…and…one day in the future…beautiful babies.  I came to Typepad because they gave me the ability to manage several blogs in one place and have multiple photo albums linked to the blog.  I am sure other services and providers can help me do the same…but I don’t have lots of time in which to just search around. 

I am a teacher.  I teach science to 7th graders.  My soon-to-be husband…he teaches also and is an athletic trainer at a local high school.  I love technology but I don’t have much time for it…or not as much as I would like to have.  The best I can do is keep up with blogging, emails, and my science website that I maintain for my classroom. 

So here I sit…writing my first post on a website that will focus on my new chapter.  My fiance keeps coming in…interrupting my thoughts with random kisses…(he wants me to come sit on the screened in porch and share a cold one with him…which I plan on doing as soon as I get all my thoughts down)…

I probably won’t write too much on this blog yet…as my purpose of this blog is to share about my new life…my non-single life…but as one week from tonight I will be married…I think it is okay. 

I am rambling…I will stop and go enjoy a hot summer evening with the man I love…all the while writing future blog posts in my head!
